Today's photo of this arch-topped window was taken from the very same building as yesterday's photo of the eliptical window and dentils.  Does this type of window have a special name?

Neat Covered Porch

This is a neat covered porch right in my current neighborhood.  It looks like it's only accessible by window, so I guess it's not a true porch.  Seems to me that there is no good reason why you couldn't have something quite similar to this that is an actual, useable, covered porch though.

Victorian Window Detail

I was driving along in Elmira, NY, when I spotted this cool window detail.  I had to pull the car over to get out and take the photo.  Like most of my pix, I took it with my phone's camera.  Very cool, don't you think?  I think this is from the Victorian era.

Gingerbread Victorian Home Near Rochester, NY

This home is quite close to where I am living at the moment.  Way too big for me, but very beautiful, don't you think?

Gingerbread Gable Peak

I took this photo quite awhile ago.  I'm pretty sure I took it along The Boston Post Road in Clinton, Connecticut.  I just thought it was an interesting detail.
